April is the month when Spring really kicks in and we see the first beautiful days of the year. The flowers are blooming and the days are longer. Its also the month where we observe the important Earth Day. I like to call April “Earth Month”, simply because our Earth does deserve a month of recognition and devoted thought. It’s a perfect month to recognize our home, also simply because it is the time of year our natural environment begins to blossom and is re-born.
One of the most neglected areas of our daily lives when it comes to being eco-friendly and Earth conscious, is the office environment. Yes, recycled paper has become more popular recently, but is everyone using at least 30% recycled paper yet? I don’t think so. Another great way to become more eco friendly in the office is by using remanufactured ink and toner cartridges. By using remanufactured or recharged cartridges; we are cutting down on energy use, natural resources we must extract from the Earth and the trash we impose on the Planet. Not only will you be more environmentally friendly, you will save a significant amount of money on printing supplies.
Here is a quote that I would like to share with everyone because it fits in very well with the Earth month theme.

Hey , I agree completely and what a great idea, we use recycled paper in our office, even though it costs a few dollars more. I believe its an excellent way to accept our responsibility to better care for our environment, but I never thought of Ink Jets of toners as being polluters in our land fills, makes sense, I will check out this avenue to elevate my office responsibility further. Thanks for the heads up, great idea.
